Today we deep dive into Agile Chartering with Ainsley Nies.  Ainsley is the co-author of the book “Liftoff: Launching Agile Projects & Teams” with Diana Larsen.

Dr. Dave and Ainsley sat in the balcony seats of the Clark Kerr conference center at the Agile Open California 2015 open space event.  We were soaking up another Agile Open space experience at the University of California Berkley, AKA Cal, the home of the Golden Bears.  Ainsley is also one of the co-founders of the Agile Open California open space event.

Our conversation included the history of Agile Open California, Agile Chartering, and the role Art plays in learning, especially for the visual learner.

Take a listen to the conversation with Ainsley.

I learned so much from this conversation with Ainsley about Agile Chartering.  The key topics of agile chartering were 1) vision, 2) mission, 3) mission test, 4) alignment, and 5) context.  I hope you were inspired by the depth of Ainsley’s knowledge and experience.  I would recommend that you visit Amazon and update your Kindle library with a copy of “Liftoff: Launching Agile Projects & Teams” by Ainsley Nies and Diana Larsen.

Another book referenced in the conversation with Ainsley was the “Quickstart Guide to the Five Rules of Accelerated Learning” by Willian and Diana Larsen.  A key concept is Keep it Alive.

Thank you for listening.
